We would like to give a huge and heartfelt thank you to each and everyone who contributed to the prom dress drive on Friday for Dress of my dreams.   Whether you donated, told a friend, read the article in the paper and showed someone, tweeted, etc. You were a blessing to our organization. Our national event is over but we still collect dresses at our main location in Stone Mountain year round.

 

We have counted:

203 dresses

30 pairs of shoes

25 evening bags

10 pairs of miscellaneous accessories that have been donated!

 

We are still waiting for word from 1 other drop off. Agnes scott college put boxes out for us and they have told us that alot of girls are planning to go home during spring break and come back with dresses as well. We now have over 400 dresses to distribute to high school girls in financial need for prom. This turned out so much better than I could have ever imagined. Not too shabby for our first year I think. I'm so tickled. Again, a sincere thank you to everyone that has supported us in any way. We would not be able to do what we do without you.

 

If you are in need of volunteer hours or just want to help be a part of something great, please help us sort, size and distribute during our prom boutique.
